New Dad thinks Baby Might be Gay....Are you serious????

SCOTTSDALE, AZ—Citing "something vaguely effeminate" about his eight-month-old son Michael, first-time father Joe Oebrick, 32, reported Tuesday that he suspects the infant may be a homosexual.
"I love my son," Oebrick said. "But, you understand, I'm worried, too."
Among the many "small signs" that suggest that his son may be gay, Oebrick cited a home video in which the toddler crawls across the living-room carpet of the family's suburban Scottsdale home, wiggling his hips from side to side.
"I don't think it's normal for a baby to move like that," said Oebrick, wincing as the infant paused and flapped an arm in the air. "Don't you think that's a little strange?"
According to Oebrick, Michael has an excessive fondness for bright colors and "things that sparkle."
"Sequins, glitter, feathers," said the recent father, listing some of the things that Michael likes. "And he really likes flowers."
According to Oebrick, Michael is fussy during meals and picky about his clothes. When he hurts himself, he "cries like a baby." Additionally, the toddler has a "very strong attraction" to a stuffed lion with a rainbow-striped mane, an apparent preference for bottle-feeding over breastfeeding, and an evident love for bouncing up and down in his jumper device "like some guy at a club."
New to parenting, Oebrick said he is "plagued" by demanding responsibilities, unexpected expenses, and "a million tiny things" that indicate that his infant son might be a homosexual.
Oebrick said he doubts that strangers can even tell that Michael is a boy when they first meet him, but he acknowledged that this is not his biggest concern. According to the recent father, his most urgent concern is the confused baby's constant need to suck on a pacifier.
"That can't be right. Can it?" Oebrick said.
Oebrick said he first began to worry about Michael's sexual orientation when the boy was two months old.
"He would giggle constantly," Oebrick said. "And he had a very weak handshake."
Oebrick recalled the first time he saw his newborn child smile.
"Obviously, I was thrilled," Oebrick said. "But the thing is, he kept on smiling. He'd smile through breakfast, he'd smile in his car seat, he'd smile at strangers. It was excessive. It was around then I started to think, 'What if Michael can't help himself?'"
According to Oebrick, there were several months during which the infant's head would wobble if it wasn't supported by an adult.
"He was always swinging his head around," Oebrick said. "Our pediatrician told me it was normal, but it seemed pretty... well, gay."
Oebrick's worries were renewed last month during a Memorial Day cookout, when Michael "seemed too interested in my buddies," staring at them for long intervals.
"My friend Ben was bouncing Michael on his knee, and he was giggling and drooling like crazy," Oebrick said. "That didn't bother me so much, but when Ben put him down, Michael started crawling after every other guy at the party, giggling and grabbing at their pants legs like crazy."
"It was like he was the belle of the ball," Oebrick said. "When Rob played peek-a-boo with him, he got so excited he actually wet his pants."
Oebrick repeatedly said that, no matter what his son's sexual orientation, he refuses to be a "distant father."
"My dad was rarely around," Oebrick said. "He was always either working or drinking with his buddies, and that left my mom to raise me and my sisters. It won't be like that for Michael. He'll have a strong male role model. It looks like he's really gonna need it."

Oh man, when I read this article on the onion.com, I cracked up. Its pretty much self-explanatory why I would crack up...I mean, didnt you? I think my favorite part of this story, was when the dad said that his kid doesnt have a strong handshake at 2 months. HAHA Goodnight!! Ahh, such good stuff. I kno that this paper is just like spoofs of everything that could possibly be true. But imagine if you knew this guy, who said all this stuff. It would be way weird, but funny that this guy is so unlogical. Any who, here was the link, if you wanted to see the pics..haha dont worry, they r safe. http://onion.com/news/index.php?issue=4126&n=3

I've Been Tagged

Sorry guys, I couldn't answer everything completely. Mucho love! - Ambular

10 years ago...Hrm, ten years ago was a long time ago. Haha, so IM gunna have to search my memory. Well, I was six then. Things were shaky in my life, considering that during that time, I had just been taken from my biological family and put into the greatest family ever.

5 years ago...It was alittle before this time, that we started attending the Church Of Christ on Whiting Street. So things were just starting to settle there. I had finally been adopted by then. My biological father had died unfortunately. So things were still kinda shaky. I was getting my mind spiritually focused. We had taken in three new brothers and sisters. I wanted to be Annie Oakley. And umm....

1 year ago...I think that a year ago was probably the greatest times I've had in my life. I was finally able to go out more, and hang out with my friends. My friendships were really tight. I felt like I was going through life the way God wanted me too. However, I was kinda in a rebelious stage almost. It wasnt any thing serisous. And I was outwardly showing this rebellion. But just some music I was into, or some of my friends were kinda questionable. But, I got over it. Umm, it was around this time last year that we were doin VBS. That was very fun. I bonded with alot of people, and made alot of my good friends that I have today.

Yesterday...I worked outside in our yard on our driplines. Travis and Micah came and visisted the family. Then I finally saw Star Wars III with Travis, Landon, Katie, Billy and Justin. I came home, had some pretty interesting convos online, because people seem to want to know everything about my life sometimes, and I dont wanna give out all that info. SO it frustrates people. But i think we kinda got through it.

Today...was kinda an upsetting day. I talked alot with my parents about my future plans with my parents. I was confused about certain things, and worrying over the littliest things. However, they helped me through it. I was so thankful that I have Landon and Katie in my life, cuz they helped me alot today also. Umm i listened to some great music, new albums i got. And i slept alot today, cuz that is what i do when im confused. And here I am now.

Tomorrow...I am probably working outside in our yard. And going to church.

5 snacks I enjoy...icecream, chips, jolly ranchers, sodas haha i dunno...fruit.

5 songs I know all the words to...GOODNITE! There is so much. okay well...The young crazed peeling - the Distillers, I am ready I am - The Format, All these Things I've done - The Killers, Hold Me- Weezer, The World at Large - Modest Mouse.

5 reality televisions shows I watch...Zero...used to watch the bachelor / bachelorette, average joe, fear factor, extreme makeover...but i dont watch much tv.

5 television shows I watch daily...I dont....haha.

5 things I would do with $100 million.... 1) buy a usuable car..nothing expensive, 2) buy all the weezer albums, 3) buy some new clothes ?4) travel some 5) save for something useful...

5 locations I would love to run away to...Italy, New York, Maine, Canada (Nova Scotia), Australia

5 things I like doing...swing dancing, talking and hangin with my pals, drawing, playing palace, and listening to music.

5 things I would never wear...um...probably never a bikini, cuz im not big on those....how about 5 bikinis?

5 recently seen movies I like...Star Wars III, White Noise, Finding Neverland, Hitch, Napoleon Dynamite...i see it all the time

5 famous people I'd like to meet...Robert Smith, Brody Dalle, Frankie Manning....

5 biggest joys of the moment...talking to the one I love, my tons of new cds travis made me, my fast internet, having people you can talk to when u need it, and, this good song im listenin to.

5 people to tag. hrm...well it seems like all my people got tagged already....

What's in Your Bible??

So lately I've been noticing how insanely larger my Bible has been expanding. It doesnt lay flat any more. I know that this can be caused from the use of reading and turning the pages, however, something else was wrong with it. So I decided to check it out. It was because I had so much things hidden between the pages. Everytime I recieve a piece of paper, or something from someone, and my Bible is in arms reach, I normally stick it in there, cuz I know I wont loose it. So, here is what my Bible contained other than over 1000 pages...i have a small bible just to inform...

1) Gum Wrappers : I have much of these in my Bible. They are gum wrappers. I started collecting around last summer. This is why.....

Its called foil art. Haha, This is the back of my Bible. I peel the wrappers, and make designs and whatnot when Im bored. However, this really isnt a good example of the designs. I just plastered the back of my Bible with wrappers this time.

2) Attendence Records : Every Wednesday, after classes, I collect the attendence records for the bulletin. I usually throw them away, so I only have the one from this week in my Bible.

3) Love Notes : Haha this is from my little precious Kira Hooper.

4) Pictures : This is a pic that someone found not to long ago and gave to me of Kira and I from way back when....when my hair was long, sniff sniff.

5) Book Marks : Gum wrappers are good bookmarks, however, a couple years ago, I was really into making bookmarks. And since I love swing so much, I decided to make this book mark. Its really funny tho, cuz it was just last week, after having this thing for years, that I realized I had an error on it :( "It Don't Mean a thing if you ain't go that swing" ... did u catch it?

6) Celebrity Pictures : Alot of my friends have Froto pics or Johny Depp, even Orlando Bloom pics in their Bibles. However, last nite my friend gave me this. Its a pic of Brody Dalle's ( Band: The Distillers) eyes. I am one of her biggest fans.

7) Study Material : This is our study on Sunday Mornings called Gods Plan for Man. Its a study to help people understand why Jesus came and why to be baptized and its really good to have because alot of questions come up that unblieving people would ask, and this sheet helps you so u can answer them...u might be able to see my notes written in pen and little mind triggers.

8) More Pics : This is a pic of my dad and I at a Valentines Dinner we had last year. A lady from the church took it and gave it to me.

Okay, well Thats that. Haha, sorry this post was kinda awkard. Hope you liked it.

My Happy Day

I do the bulletin for our church. I normally start it on Fridays, however, it usually doesnt get finished until late Saturday evenings. And with this big job, comes alot of stuff you have to deal with. You have to collect all the announcements, make sure you have all the right information, stay updated with certain subjects, be sure and correct all errors, get it printed in time, make sure you have enough copies...pretty much you have to stay on top of things. It's a really big job.

Well, lately, its been really stressful doing the bulletin. Its just so discouraging when every week people come up to you and complain about the littlest things. I try to fix the problem, however, then someone else doesnt like what I did. I even get to the point where I just break down , and tell my parents about how hard of a time Im having. They give me good input, and give me great ideas on how to not make it such a burden on me. One of the ideas were to have several ppl helping in doing it. Like, have someone call around and get the announcements, have someone stay updated on the pray list, have someone pick out a verse every week, have someone else write a greeting, and I would just collect and put everything in and then print it out. But, when it came around to it, no one volunteered. My sister Katie said she would help, so that was a blessing.

The other night, my dad went to a mens meeting, and the subject of the bulletin came up. People gave their complaints. However, one man, told the other men, that the bulletin is a very hard job, and it is time consuming. He said that when I hear all these complaints, it gets discouraging. He pretty much told the other men about how great of a job I am doing, and that I should be encouraged more about the bulletin, rather than just hearing complaints.

Well yesterday morning, the man who was doing announcements came up to the front. He gave some announcements, then he pointed out the bulletin. He said that the bulletin is a great thing that the church has, it gives great information and keeps ppl updated. Then, he started talking about me, and how I do the bulletin every week, and he thanked me in front of the whole church. Then he told everyone that if they appreciate the bulletin , they should thank me also, cuz of the big job I have been doing. After that, everyone started clapping for me , and were like, "go Amber!" It was really encouraging. It made my day. All of those petty complaints that were made that morning that brought me down, were gone, because just what he said to me, made me so happy. I wanted to cry, but I held it in.

IF someone is doing something for God, be sure and thank them . No matter what it is. Maybe its cleaning , or preparing the Lords Supper. Just go up to them and say, " thank you brother or sister." Cuz I bet you anything, that will make their day. There is a lady in our church, who redid the bathrooms in the downstairs and used her own money for everything. She was discouraged because of the things ppl were complaining to her about. She did an excellent job. When we told her thank you, and how beautiful the bathrooms looked, she cried and said, THANK YOU ! I thought no one liked them.

I kno Joe Glenn does a bulletin also. He prolly has to put up with alot. But thank you Joe for just keeping at it!

Pig Sty gone!

April, Abbi, Me

These past couple weeks, I really hadnt been cleaning my room. I'd always put it off, for some lame reason. Well it eventually became terrible! Clothes were everywhere, my bed was never made, my dresser was cluttered with my daily appliances, aka, my hair straightener, makeup, hairbrust ect... Ne who, it was pretty terrible. Haha I wont even explain about under the bed :S

Yesterday morning, I went to the gym. Normally, I will clean my room before I go, however, mine was just too big of a mess to deal with that early in the morning (6am). So, I went to the gym and didnt come home until 1, cuz after the gym we went shopping. I started heading for my room, my door was closed. I was thinking, oh great, hopefully I will be able to open the door, without having to push a load of something out of the way. But the door opened so easily. I walked in my room with awe. It was spotless, organized and all!I was thinking woah! Then i was wondering who couldve done such great works...maybe it was my sister mary, who is younger than me, and puts me in a high status( everynite she says, "Goodnite princess A"). However, when i thought of her doing it, i was kinda bummed, cuz that means that she prolly stuffed everything under my bed, cuz that is what normally happens when she does it. So i checked under....and there was nothing under it! Itwas spotless!! I was like, NO WAY! so then i thought, okay, well maybe she stuffed it all in the closet....i checked! NOTHING! and on top of it...my once empty closet was full of clean smelling clothes. This was a shock. I went downstairs not knowing who to thank....However, it was revealed that my sister April had done it for me. I guess she was bored, and had nothing better to do, so she washed all my clothes, which belive me was a couple loads, and organized and vacuumed my whole room! i was so happy, and I feel so good now, cuz my room is clean, and I can finally see my floor again! THANK YOU APRIL!

Persuasive Speech : The Truth About Our Underwater Ally

This morning, while eating breakfast, Justin was saying that he knows the real story about the Lock Ness monster. My parents and I kind of looked at each other like, Ok? He was saying that last night, at Bible study, Eli told the real story. He said that several had known the real story, however, they did not tell much people because they thought it was funny, how everyone reacted. Here is what supposedly happened. The night before the lock ness pictures were taken, an elephant had escaped from the nearby circus. One night, it came to the banks of the lake, and swam across it. During its transport across the river, a drunken doctor was nearby. He, thinking it was some kind of ancient being, because he was delusional, decided to take pictures. And that is where we get the lock nessed monster. It was really just the trunk of the elephant that was out of the waters; however the doctor said it was the head of some large creature. The next day, people found the elephant on the other side of the lake.

After Justin told us this story, we were all like, you believed that? And he said that it was a proven fact. We all laughed at him. Then we asked him what brought up this conversation about Nessy. He said that during the study, they were talking about speech, and persuasive speech. He went on to say, how someone can make up a really good story, and persuade someone, just like the myth of the lock ness monster. However, he was in his own trap. He did not understand that the story he believed, was a persuasive speech.

Its funny how much we believe silly stories that people make up, especially when someone we trust tells us it. I remember not too long ago my mom was saying we should go snipe hunting. She told me all about it, and I believed her. However I soon found out it was a joke to make you look like a fool. We need to be more careful about what we hear, and then believe. We need to search it out and get evidence before we go spreading it to others. Otherwise, we wont ever know the truth.

Scary Movies, Through Amber's Eyes

So lately, I've been watching alot of scary movies. I don't know why this is happening, but it seems like every week, I watch a new scary movie. I havent been on a scary movie craze for a long time. Here is my review of the past four scary movies I 've watched these past couple of weeks.

White Noise- This movie was actually quite good. It was more suspensful than scary. Plus, it wasn't gorry. I am not a big fan of gutts and blood, however, I like to feel on the edge sometimes. It caused you to think alittle, and I like those kind of movies. This movie was really clean, surprisingly. When I first saw the preview to this movie, I thought it was going to be really really scary. However, it turned out good. I think the only reason why I might have seemed alittle scared while watching this movie was because I had April on one side of me, freaking out, and screaming in my ear. However, it was evened out with Zach on the other side being rather calm, with his great sense of criticism, which made me laugh more at the movie than be frightened.
I actually watched this movie twice. The second time was with my mom. After the movie , she brought up a really good point. That there is a spirit world out there. But we, only associate that with scary movies or frightening images. However, this isnt the case. Because we have a holy spirit, which is not frightening. But, she didnt fail to mention, that there are evil spirits out there, just like the three that were killing people, in the movie.

Darkness - I was passing through the large selection of movies at Blockbuster when I came across this one. So I told my mom to get it, but she first went and asked an employee there, if it was any good. He said it was , and it had a good plot, however it was not rated, but in theaters they rated it as R for gore. So, eventually, my mom decided to get it. I think this movie was okay. It was pretty scary, I had to leave some of the hall lights on for awhile..haha until my mom would come and turn them off. This movie did have alot of blood in it, and it used a lot of old images...from the early days. So that was pretty weird. But there really wasnt any scary dead people with ripped off faces walking around. SO that was good. Also, the movie did have a twist, which was nice. I just think that some of the characters became rather annoying. However, others may think differently.

The Boogie Man - I thought I had seen previews for this movie, and it looked good. However, when I started watching it, I realized, that I was thinking of that other scary movie with Dakota Fanning in it. This movie was pretty good. It was jumpy, but it didnt have scary images in it. It was one of those , where u can tell something bad was going to happen with that crazy music in the background. The plot was kinda confusing at first, but towards the end, it became more clear. However, I think that they ended the movie wrong. It just kinda got cut off it seems . When the movie was over, I was like, "woah, that was a short movie, it was only like 60 minutes or so.." but it really was over that. So , its time consuming. haha.

The Ring - So last night, I watched the Ring for a 3rd time, but I watched it with my mom. I kinda had to explain things throughout the movie, so it wasnt as scary. And you know how they have how many days left pop up on the tv? well everytime my mom was like...what did that say? haha it was rather annoying. But, I think the only thing that has ever made this movie scary was the little girl. Of course, haha she is the antagonist of the whole thing. But why did they choose her? She is just soo scary looking with her long black hair. I mean, nothing else is even scary in the movie. Its just scary like when she crawls out of the well, i mean, How normal is that? its freaky, however, if u think about it long enough, it really isnt. Its kinda ... funny. Hahaha, what movies do to your head....

Creation or Accident?

So, the other day, I stayed up until 3 am talking to my friend about a question he asked. The question was Creation or Accident? He said that if you could answer this question, you will know the answer to everything. I , of course being a Christian, answered, Creation. I explained that the world was too detailed and beautiful to be an accident. So here is pretty much our convo...
(Amber says... Dan says..)

creationism or acident?that one Question is the one that can answer everything
creationism, the world is too beautiful and detailed to be an accident. If it were an accident, ppl wouldnt be so interested in it...like with earth science and history , cuz it would have no meaning at all. however, creation, shows that there is a higher power who created something so spectacular and marvelous, that ppl have to search it out
but how do we know that religion isn't just a scapegoat theory
and of couse people are gunna be iterested cause they don't know
and how do we know that it doesn't have any meaning?
We dont know, wed have to know everything for that one. but even if it was a scapegoat, what harm is it doing you. if you live be rules that lead to either heaven or hell, and then die, and find out it was all a fake, what harm did it do, all it did was make u a better person and it gave u a purpose to live. without a purpose or incentive, life is pointless.
the harm it did was you lived a lie
ok, but ur dead...u wouldnt think that. we live lives everyday dan
yes so enjoy them with out thinkabout whats to come and we live our life
i mean, who thinks that going to the gym will get u in shape when when u leave the gym, u eat the fattiest foods to exist...haha alot of ppl. that is a lie. children, they believe in santa....
however when they find out there isnt a santa in time, did it ruin their lives? was it worth it?

how do you know that religion isn't like santa that you just taught that he exist but doest really, and belive it till someone tells you different..but im not talking just religion, im talking beliving in god in general.
i have a relationship with my god, cz there is evidence of him.
thats good that you do, but if some one were to give you absoult profe that he isn't there would you let him go?

yes, if someone could give me absolute proof that there is no god whatsoever, i would....however, id like to see someone try, cuz the little things r what count. i think that proly one of the most amazing things is that ever since the beginning of time, we dont even have to use the christian perspective, we can just use cavemen or whatever. there was always a sense of highpower.
if u look at ppl, they believe in higher authority, its like written in them , u have the father..under him the wife..then the children. we r built on that highness. and throughout these tiems, there has always been different gods...however, the only one that is still spredin like a wildfire is jesus christ. we r still talking about him...its been over 2000 years, i dont see much ppl still following zues...or meeting inremember of him as much as possible...plus pretty much every religion has a higher power, and prett ymuch all branched for judiasm....which led
into christian and so forth and so forth.

nature is a higher power, but this seems to be what alot of people see a god
dan but how can anture just be there?u believe nature is higher than u. u believe that the tree outside ur window is in control of u , and loves u.....u think that that tree created ur being...?
that would be silly.

humans now are created by nature not god.i'm refering to nature as, everthing that isn't man or god, inculding the universe it self. nature is the universe and everthing , every power in it
so it pretty much created itself? how can something just be natural...without a beginning?

its just natural, like breathing
where did it start?
is goes back to the question of creation or accident
accident is a pro to nature rite?how can that be....when the definitions are complete opposites
listen..accident is- A circumstance or attribute that is not essential to the nature of something.
do u see the part where it says it is not essential to the NATURE of something
the world is too perfected and complicated for it to be an accident. another def of it...An unexpected and undesirable event, especially one resulting in damage or harm

the word nature in there has a completly different meaning
no it doesnt, its a physical meaning, nature or soemthing..liek breathing..

Any ways, that was prolly the main thing we talked about, we kinda went into having a spirit and having choice, and that we r different from the animals, however after what i just posted, he kinda was scattered and made no sense, so im not going to post that. I hope that made some sense, if not tell me, and give me some advice or some other stuff to say to him about creation vs. accident, cuz when i left that nite, we were kinda unfinished, but it was late, so we decided to leave. however, he said next time he talks to me, we r going to continue. Ok, thanks for reading all of this, tata.

It's Party Time...

Greetings! This is Micah...
So today is the day. I remember a year ago, I was sitting in the hospital, holding a sweet child that the Lord brought into our lives. No, this child was not mine…it was my sisters. The baby was my nephew Micah. I was at the whole birth. I had some mental disturbances after he was born, haha but I think im fine now. However, I remember the first time my sister asked me if I wanted to hold the baby. I was scared tho, cuz he was freshly out of the womb, and I was afraid I was going to hurt him. However, when I got the gutts to hold him, I thought, I love this baby, Ive waited 9 long months for this child to come out, and now he finally was here. Ever since then, Ive loved Micah so much. I will always love that boy, no matter how winy or how annoying he can get. He is so precious. Its so amazing how much hes grown up in the last year. I remember when all he could do, is lay there, like a loaf of bread, and his only communication was a faint cry. I remember when daily everyone would gaze at him, and bet on what color eyes he’d have. I remember when he finally started to laugh when u started tickling him, instead of just laying there, motionless. I remember when we were so amazed when he was finally able to crawl around. I remember when he began saying his first noises like, Da, or Ma. I remember when he got his first tooth, and now he has like 5 of them. I remember when we were so thrilled when he was able to start walking. Id sit there for hours with Nick just having him walk back and forth between us. I remember when he started recognizing who Mommy was, and Grandma, Daddy, Andrew, Me and so forth. I think about how he now can copy what u do, Im a living example for Micah. And I want to be the best example for him. He is my baby. He has grown up so much. And now he is One years old, today. So today, is his day. We are going out on a boat ride, we are going to go tubing and have a bbq. Its going to be so much fun. All of Micah’s grandparents are going to be there, and so are all his aunts and uncles. Haha. So, I dedicate this post to Micah Landon Beard, the cutest bestest sweetest one year old nephew a girl could ever ask for!

It's All About The Eighties!

--Robert Smith from The Cure--

To put it bluntly, I love the 80’s! I love the hair styles, the clothing, the words, but most of all the music. I believe I was born 10 years to late, and into the wrong era. 80’s music is so good. Last night, my friend and I were discussing the many songs from the 80’s which we love. There are so many. I never was really into this music, until Eli, our youth minister was teaching us art a couple years back when I was about 10 or so. Every time we came to class, he would always have a soothing artistic cd that he would put into the cd player, and play while we drew or painted. He pretty much brought the same cd every week, however, I loved his music so much, that I started listening more and more to it. Eventually, I had a collection of great songs from the 80’s. I mean, all the songs are so emotional and so cheesy I love them. How can you go wrong? I even think its more brilliant how these songs are played throughout so many movies, people don’t even realize it. But my favorite flicks are the movies actually placed during this time in history. Such as, the wedding singer, or 13 going on 30. Well here is a list of great songs from the 1980’s.

a-ha ~ Take on Me ( This song is also played in the movie, Corky Ramono)
Alphaville ~ Forever Young (A Napoleon Dynamite Classic)
Bangles ~ Walk Like an Egyption
Pat Benatar ~ Heartbreaker and Love is a Battlefield
Paula Abdul ~ Opposites attract and Straight Up
David Bowie~ China Girl ( From the soundtrack of The Wedding Singer)
Clash~ Should I stay or should I go?
Charles Daniels Band ~ The Devil Went Down to Georgia
Depeche Mode ~ Blasphemous Rumors
Dexy’s Midnight Runners ~ Come on Eileen ( This is one of my all time favorites)
Foreigner ~ Waiting for a girl like you ( This song is the ultamite love song)
Go- Go’s ~ We Got the Beat
Billy Idol ~ White Wedding
Michael Jackson ~ Billie Jean
Cyndi Lauper ~ Girls Just wanna have fun and Time After Time
Barry Manilow ~ Copacobana ( Dom and Billy Bob did a salsa routine to this one)
Mat at Work ~ Down Under ( From the movie Finding Nemo)
Mike and the Mechanics ~ All I need is a miracle
Modern English ~ I Melt with You
Tom Petty ~ Free Falling
Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers ~ Life is a Highway ( Soundtrack of Cheaper by the Dozen)
Police ~ Don’t stand so close to me ( This song reminds me of the movie Loser) and the song Every Breath I take
Queen ~ Queen Killer
REM~ Losing My Religion
Soft Cell ~ Tainted Love
Bonnie Tyler~ Total Eclipse of the Heart ( From the movie Bandits)
Trio ~ Da Da Da ( This song reminds me of my bro in law Landon)
Vapors ~ Turning Japanese
When In Rome ~ The Promise ( Another Napoleon Dynamite song)
Rick Springfield ~ Jessie’s Girl ( Plays on the movie 13 going on 30
Malcolm Mclaren ~ Madame Butterfly (This is a tear jerker)
The Cars~ My best friends girl and Just what I needed
The Cure ~ Letter to Elise, Friday Im in Love, Disintegration, Halo and so much others….

There are so many other songs I can think of..but I think this list is long enough. Today, many great bands are arising, with 80’s sounds to them suchas , the Killers, Franz Ferdinand, The Postal Service, Death Cab for Cutie…and all those other Indie bands out there with the great keyboard use and synths… If any one wants a great 80’s mix, I would be happy to make you one. Also, there is an awesome 80’s station- 103.9 – in case no one has there radio dialed there. Okay, this post is long enough I think. Tata!
